Savings Groups Program - Haiti
Savings groups with 30 – 85 members meet every 2 weeks. They have a lesson on spiritual, business, and/or family subjects. Then they deposit their money and take out loans from the groups money. All interest on the loans goes out the members based on what they deposited.
- 745 groups with 38,645 members
- 5 regional offices with regional directors
- 58 facilitators
- Together they saved the equivalent of $4,767,292 USD in 2023!
Every year all the funds are dispersed to the members. This is an exciting time as people realize how much they were able to save. They do not say "Thank-you Terrafina for what you did."
